About Us
A series of fully integrated MATIvision computers, running patented software to capture, process and output “bubble shaped” image files, filtered into the MATIvision system by special mini-cameras (the size of a Coke can), all remotely controlled and thus delivering an individually customized, interactive, live-immersion and viewing experience whether live or edited, archived and played back later hundreds of thousands, and even millions of revenue-generating times:
- Each viewer is the director of his/her own viewing experience
- Experience is as close to “being there” as it gets
- Viewers are free to focus on the action they wish to follow
- Unlimited number of viewers each watching “their own” show simultaneously
- Viewers are moving “inside” the images, not moving old-fashioned “web cams”
How it works:
- You can see everything: a complete sphere, full 360 degrees all around – the way an insect sees a whole bubble around them.
- Several cameras are used simultaneously to:
- capture an event from many different positions
- create multiple navigate-able bubbles
- all seamlessly synchronized with each other and audio
- Enabled by proprietary multi-camera player software working within any web website, including social networks
- No need to download / install anything to experience MATIvision
- Simply visit a web page and click “play”
- Delivering 3 x High Definition both Live Streaming, and On Demand:
- Video can be played on demand by any website, social network page (e.g. Facebook), or
- Copied to a removable medium, or
- Delivered for consumption in a mobile device (iPhone/iPad – Q3)
What the Viewer Sees and Does:
Can direct own content and customize “how I want it”
- Choose what to watch and the position from which to watch it, feeling as close as possible to “being there”
- Navigate in a spherical image with a mouse – like inside a bubble
- Completely free to focus on the action they want to see (not restricted by the choices of a video director)
- Zoom-in/out as they please, enjoying directions not possible with conventional video
- Play Director and choose the “Close Up a la Mr. DeMille”
Mativision Recognition:
- MATIvision was selected by MidemNet Lab as one of the Finalists for the distinction of “2010’s Hottest New B2B Technology in the Music industry”, during Midem 2011 (January 2011, Cannes, France).

Alex Wall, Brontone, MUSE Management
"Filming a band in a live session in our studios is a complex situation especially as our crew was filming the session at the same time. We were happy to see that the Mativision crew were very professional and reliable, stayed out of the way of our crew and at the end still produced incredible content for a very interesting band.”
David Mogendorff, Talent and Music Digital Media Director, MTV Networks International
“There is nothing out there like Mativision. The image quality and the audio is great but best of all,
the viewer gets the greatest view in the venue, in fact they are given a choice of several great views to
choose from. I can’t of a better way to capture a show.”
Stephen Budd – Stephen Budd Management / NH7 Festival / Africa Express (The Magic Numbers, Concert at Wiltons, London)
“Mativision managed to turn a charity concert into an incredible interactive event on the Internet that attracted over 250,000 viewers and even three months after the event, it still continues to attract a steady flow of viewers to the content everyday”
Seth Jackson, Director of PIAS Media.
“After a world-wide search and rigorous assessment, we selected Mativision to produce the 14-hour long continuous 360-degree high-fidelity video content for our large-screen Interactive Projection. No other company came even close to what they had to offer”
Costas Kefalas (Audiovisual Production Manager, National Pavilion of Greece, Shanghai International Fair 2010)
“Working with the Mativision crew in Moscow was a great experience. They are professionals, know pretty well what they are doing and how to get the best results in the shortest time, even at the most demanding situations.”
Dzham (Artist-acting in the Pendulum Interactive Music Video)
“Nikos Portokaloglou played in a very tight setting, on a very small stage, to a selected audience. Mativision managed to capture the atmosphere of the concerts while staying totally invisible to both the band and the audience”.
Giorgos Markakis (radio producer)
